How We Build Our Calculators
Every calculator on FinancialAdviser.com uses formulas published by a primary source, such as the Social Security Administration, the SEC or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and lists what it leaves out. The results are estimates to help you compare scenarios. They aren't predictions or personalized advice.
